SERVICING
Regular servicing is essential to ensure the safe and efficient operation of gas appliances. Whilst a gas safety check assesses the basic safety of a gas appliance, a service will consist of a full check of a gas appliance and the engineer is likely to take the appliance apart to inspect it. The Gas Safe registered engineer will assess the physical condition of the appliance, installation pipework, air vents and any flues for deterioration. They will carry out performance tests and take any necessary remedial action. Appliances should be serviced annually and in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. Servicing regularly will make sure the appliance is safe and will also maintain your appliances efficiency and performance. Not having your gas appliance regularly serviced may affect your warranty. We also carry out a basic system water inhibitor checks (in line with Part 'L' of building regulations) and attach results to service report e-mail as this is now mandatory.

A tailored service for landlords
If you're a landlord looking to rent your property out to new tenants, it's your responsibility to arrange the gas safety testing of your appliances. Our team in Clacton-on-Sea are fully qualified to provide the checks you need, and with annual reminders and electronic records emailed directly to you, we make the whole process as simple as possible.

Please Note: A Landlord Certificate will not be issued unless we service the appliance or proof is provided that it has been serviced within the last 12 months. If a tenant misses a pre-arranged visit without giving 24 hours notice, or has run out of gas, the Landlord will incur a charge.
